KETAMINE & INTEGRATION

How Does Ketamine Therapy Work?

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that can have hallucinogenic effects. When used in a controlled setting under clinical supervision, it can help reduce symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and PTSD.
Ketamine creates a state of neuroplasticity that, when explored with a therapist, can promote positive shifts in both thinking and behavior.

Integration is such an important part of our program that you will have a Trained Integration Therapist holding space throughout your time in the program.

FAQs

Medicaid Coverage: Currently Medicaid is the only insurance provider that will cover this type of therapy. There is only an additional fee of $39 per dosing session for Medicaid clients. Private Pay for Dosage: For the total program, which includes a full evaluation, six dosing sessions and six integration sessions: $6000 +

For individual sessions our price ranges from $450-$900 a dosing session.  Click here more to learn what that looks like. Please reach out to learn more and schedule a 15 minute time to talk about steps, insurance, and if Ketamine + Integration Therapy is right for you.

In order to make Ketamine more accessible and to provide a community process, Whole Connection offers Ketamine Dosages in groups. These groups tend to be small, 3-5 people, and create a space for mutual experiences, while also having your own individual one. While being part of a group Ketamine dosing session, there will be a trained Integration therapist present to hold space, as well as our licensed physician. By doing so this provides a holding container for each individual.Even with this, we still have space for clients to be in their own individual space after the Ketamine process. Although the dosage is in a group experience, the integration is still individualized and provided the very next day.

Although you can have the Ketamine dosage without a follow up of integration with a therapist, we believe that by having the integration more of the experience can be understood and lead to growth. The Ketamine dosage experience is an internal experience, but also can feel disconnecting, and much like important moments in our lives, we believe that by having an ability to process the difficulties, new knowledge, and worries, can create for greater shifts in the directions we are hoping for.We believe in the integration so much, that it is part of our program, not an add-on. We also make sure that the therapist you will integrate with has been trained in Ketamine integration.

There are certain conditions that exclude some individuals from ketamine therapy:

  • Pregnancy
  • Uncontrolled or untreated hypertension
  • Severe cardiac disease
  • Liver or kidney failure
  • Active psychosis
