Sheila Ghanian

Intern, Clinical Therapist
(she/her)

My name is Sheila and I am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado – Denver. My academic journey began with a BS in neurobiology and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I’ve had the joy of working with clients in diverse roles, spanning from clinical research and crisis hotline support to providing neurofeedback services and leading group fitness sessions.

I believe in the innate wholeness of every individual and view therapy as a transformative tool to reconnect with one’s inner wisdom and authenticity. Acknowledging the influence of personal narratives and historical imprints, I guide clients in exploring and integrating past experiences to foster greater awareness, connection, and vibrant aliveness.

My therapeutic toolkit pulls from Gestalt, Jungian, Narrative, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems therapeutic approaches.

Outside of therapy sessions, you’ll often find me immersed in the joy of dancing, music, community, exercise, nature, and exploration.
