About Me

I currently am an intern therapist at Whole Connection while I concurrently complete my master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Naropa University. Within my master’s program, I am highly interested in the healing qualities of mindfulness and believe that helping individuals to connect to their spirituality promotes true self-expression and psychological resilience against the inevitable hardships of life.

My approach to therapy is grounded in person-centered psychotherapy, humanism, and transpersonal psychology and I am currently receiving training in modalities and techniques from these orientations and more. I aim to create a safe and welcoming relationship between client and clinician based in mutual respect, trust, and compassion. I also take a holistic approach to therapy meaning my focus is not just on the mind and thoughts, but also on your being as whole including body, spirit, as well as your connection to your community, values, and personal identity.

My Background

I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Neuroscience which affords me a deeper understanding of the biological underpinnings of human experience and behavior. I aim to use my knowledge of the brain and brain processes to help others better understand and healthily integrate their life experiences.

Approach to Treatment

As a clinician, I am open to working with all clients no matter your background. Acknowledgement and celebration of our unique differences and diversity is a critical component of my therapeutic approach. With that, it is my hope to use my skills as a mental health clinician to meet you where you are, as you are, and together we can navigate the path to identifying and working through obstacles in one’s life that may be blocking a deeper understanding and loving of your true self. Please reach out if you would like to schedule an intake with me to see if we might be a good fit.
