Ruthie Trias

LPCC
(she/her)

My name is Ruthie Trias, I have a Master’s of Couples and Family Counseling from UC Denver. My perspectives in therapy are drawn from systemic, relational, holistic, and culturally responsive approaches. I view therapy as a safe place to explore relationships, experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I feel an important element in therapy is addressing the social, economic, and cultural influences on a person and that the client is seen as the “expert” of their life.

I am a biracial and multicultural, Woman of Color. I was born and partially raised on the west coast (city life), then moved to rural Colorado. Life has provided me with a lesson on how our lives are impacted by our cultural identities.

Outside of the therapy room I love to cook, hike, walk/run, watch movies, write, sit by water, spend quality time with friends and family, and be a foodie. If you feel like it is a good fit and feel inspired to reach out, please do!
