Angie Gonzales – LSW

Clinical Therapist
(she/her)

Hi, I’m Angie! I’m a therapist who completed their Masters of Social Work program at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I come to this work with a social work framework, which means I hold awareness of both the strengths and challenges that come from our unique and intersecting identities, as well as the ways larger systems can shape our development and relationships.

In sessions, I take a person-centered approach. This means meeting you where you are, leading with empathy and curiosity, and creating space for all of your feelings and experiences. I also bring in a somatic lens, believing that our bodies carry our lived experiences and often reveal patterns in how we relate to ourselves and others. In addition, I incorporate Internal Family Systems, which understands that we each have different “parts” of ourselves, all working in their own ways to protect us and help us get through life. Together, we’ll build greater self-awareness and work toward reconnecting mind, body, and spirit so you can move toward a more whole and authentic self.

Outside of the therapy room, I love traveling, exploring new restaurants, and discovering music. I also enjoy playing sports, both on land and in water, discovering the serenity of the outdoors, and connecting with those around me.
