Relationships take work, and sometimes that work feels heavier than you can carry alone. Maybe you keep having the same fight, feel more like roommates than partners, or your family is stuck in old patterns that hurt. Wherever you are, and however your relationships are structured, this is a place to be seen, supported, and understood.

You might recognize some of this

  • The same argument on repeat
  • Feeling more like roommates than partners
  • Trust that's been shaken or broken
  • Walking on eggshells at home
  • Talking past each other instead of connecting
  • Big life changes pulling you apart
  • Parenting or blended-family tension
  • Wanting more closeness but not knowing how

How therapy helps

Therapy gives you a calm, steady space to slow things down and actually hear one another. Together we'll notice the patterns that keep you stuck, understand what's underneath the conflict, and practice new ways of talking and repairing that feel real for you.

Our work is trauma-informed and collaborative, which means we move at your pace and honor your history. You set the goals, and we walk alongside you as you build the understanding and connection you're reaching for.

“You set the pace. You're the expert in your own story.”

Common questions

How much does couples or family therapy cost, and do you take insurance?

Self-pay sessions are $135, with a limited number of sliding-scale spots available. We accept Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Medicare, and most insurance plans. Coverage for couples and family therapy can vary from plan to plan, so our admissions team will verify what your specific plan covers before you begin. Just reach out and we'll walk you through it.

Can we meet by telehealth?

Yes. We offer secure video sessions to anyone located in Colorado, so you can meet from home, from work, or even from two different places if that's easier for your schedule. We also see couples and families in person at our Boulder office (100 Arapahoe Ave) and our Denver office (5335 W 48th Ave).

Is your care LGBTQ+, poly, and ENM affirming?

Absolutely. We welcome all genders, orientations, and relationship structures, including polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and other consensual arrangements. Our care is sex-positive and affirming, and our therapist Olivia Ives works fluently in both English and Spanish. Your relationship gets to be exactly what it is here.

Do both partners or all family members need to attend every session?

Not necessarily. Many couples and families do their best work together, but there's real value in individual sessions too, and sometimes members join at different points. We'll figure out the right structure with you based on your goals and what feels doable for everyone involved.
