Admissions checks your specific plan, explains any copay or coinsurance, and confirms coverage before your first session — no surprises.

3. Meet your therapist

Using your Medicare benefits

  • Medicare Part B
  • (Medicare Advantage & supplements — ask us)
  • (Also: Health First Colorado / Medicaid)
  • (Also: most major commercial insurance)

Medicare Part B covers outpatient mental-health therapy. Under original Medicare you typically pay 20% coinsurance after your Part B deductible, unless you have a supplement (Medigap) or Medicare Advantage plan that changes your cost. We verify your exact benefits before your first session.

Not sure what your plan covers? That's what admissions is for. Reach out and we'll verify your exact benefits before you start — checking costs nothing and there's no obligation.

Common questions

Does Medicare cover therapy?

Yes — Medicare Part B covers outpatient mental-health therapy with a licensed provider, and Whole Connection accepts it. We verify your specific coverage before your first appointment.

How much will I pay with Medicare?

Under original Medicare you typically pay 20% coinsurance after your Part B deductible. A Medigap supplement or Medicare Advantage plan may lower that. We'll tell you your exact cost before you begin.

Can I use Medicare for video sessions?

Yes — Medicare covers telehealth therapy. We confirm the details for your situation before your first video session.

What if I also have Medicaid?

If you have both, we coordinate them for you — many dual-eligible members pay little or nothing. Admissions will sort it out before you start.

Take the first step

Start with a short intake and a conversation. We'll verify your coverage and help you figure out what makes sense — no obligation beyond that.
