Irka Ryabaya

Intern, Clinical Therapist

I’m so glad you’re here. If you find yourself on this page, chances are something in your life (a relationship, a thought pattern, a feeling, maybe one you can’t quite name) isn’t quite right. That’s exactly where this work begins. I help adults heal, reconnect with themselves, and find new ways of being that feel true in relationships, at work, with family and with themselves. Whatever brought you here, every part of you is welcome.

I came to this work through my own life experience. After two decades working in tech and finance, I left spreadsheets and pitch decks to do work that is profoundly meaningful to me: help people heal. I’m a refugee who immigrated from Soviet Ukraine, queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent, and a childhood trauma survivor living with chronic pain and invisible disability. I know what it’s like to move through a world that doesn’t always fit or welcome us and love helping people learn to navigate through it in a way that feels right.

Real change is possible. That lived experience shapes how I show up with every person I work with: curious first, grounded in neuroscience and modern research, genuinely present. I approach doing therapy in a way that gets at the root of the patterns that hold us back (IFS informed parts work, Gestalt, Hakomi, Coherence Therapy, Brainspotting, Mindfullness, Somatics) and creates possibility for deep, lasting change.

Let’s work together if you’ve ever thought “I don’t know why I feel / say / do that. I know it doesn’t work but I can’t seem to stop” and now you’re ready for a different approach. I work with individuals, couples and polycules. I especially love supporting people through life transitions: ending or starting relationships, reimagining work & career, reworking family dynamics, processing grief and reconnecting with meaning and purpose.

Areas we can work on together: anger, shame, self-worth, relationship patterns, career & work, immigration and cultural adjustment, identity, grief, life transitions, family dynamics, chronic pain & disability, trauma & CPTSD, neurodivergence, non-traditional relationships.

Ready to begin? The most important thing in life is our relationships, both with others, and with ourselves. I’d be honored to help you build better ones.

Every way that you are is welcome here.
