Sarah Eisenbud, MA, LPC, is a clinical supervisor, educator, and therapist who has spent much of her career thinking about what helps clinicians grow—not only in their skills, but in their capacity to be curious, thoughtful, courageous, and fully present with the people they serve.
Sarah approaches supervision as a collaborative space for exploration rather than a place to simply learn the “right” way to do therapy. She enjoys working with clinicians who want to think deeply about their work, experiment, ask difficult questions, and develop a way of practicing that feels genuinely their own. Her approach is rooted in narrative and post-structural therapies and informed by relational, experiential, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices, with particular experience in complex trauma and dissociation.
Sarah has taught and developed graduate-level counselor education, supervised clinicians across stages of professional development, led clinical programs, and trained and consulted with therapists and organizations. Across these roles, she remains interested in how culture, identity, relationships, and systems of power shape both our clients’ lives and the work we do together.
Outside of work, Sarah is usually writing something, cooking something, reading about something obscure, spending time outside, or hanging out with her very old and very beloved dog, Boone.

Your parasympathetic system controls your body while you sleep, allowing you to “rest and digest.” This normal process of repairing the body, can become dysregulated after traumatic or highly stressful experiences. Treatment by Stella aims to restore balance and promote nightly rest and repair functions.
Helping reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety can, in turn, improve sleep. Some studies have suggested that stellate ganglion blocks may be effective in improving sleep, particularly those with sleep disorders related to stress and anxiety.

By stopping the nerve growth that is occurring and eliminating or pruning the extra nerve fibers that have been created, the amygdala can be reset to its pre-trauma state.
